It is a fantastic way to soak up the relaxed atmosphere of the park while taking in the gorgeous scenery. It’ll also prepare you for a full day of sightseeing and get you in the right mindset!
Live out your Central Perk dreams as you sip on a big mug of strong coffee and watch the city go by. Refuel after your yoga session and prepare for an intense day in one of the many cosy coffee rooms next to the park, why not grab a pastry as well?
This is an obvious must-see, and with just a quick ferry ride you can be standing on Ellis Island underneath the magnificent Statue of Liberty. The ferry ride itself offers brilliant photo opportunities of the statue and of New York and the brisk wind will definitely wake you up! Once you arrive at the Island there is also the fascinating National Immigration Museum to wander around. After this stroll around the beautiful Statue of Liberty, grab a souvenir and a photo and head back to the ferry!
It’s time for a well deserved lunch! Pick up a huge slice of authentic New York pizza for a couple of dollars and stroll around the busy Times Square and do some window shopping. In this area of Manhattan there is always something exciting happening, whether it’s a street performance, Disney characters offering photo opportunities, or a flash mob, you’ll never be bored!
The best view in New York is undoubtedly from the top of the Empire State Building, and at sunset is a sight you will never forget! Wander around the boundaries of this gorgeous rooftop, look through the binoculars and take in the city that never sleeps. Be sure to get some Instagram worthy photos as the sun sets, and then head back down towards the Brooklyn Bridge.
Walk over the stunning Brooklyn Bridge and head to one of Brooklyn’s hippest districts, Williamsburg. Spend the evening bar hopping in the various cool and diverse venues to get a feel for Brooklyn, there’s something for everyone!
