Head into the Rockies of Canada for an adventure tour unlike any other. Using Banff as a base for this tour, you’ll head along the Icefields Parkway to see some of the most awe-inspiring sights in Canada. Think rich turqouise waters at Lake Louise, rushing rivers and deep ravines in Maligne Canyon, and the snowtopped peaks of the mountains around you. Along the way, you’ll have some fun in the exciting towns of Banff and Jasper.

The West Coast Canada Tour at a glance:

Day 1-2:

Arrive at the spectacular township of Banff to kick off your Canadian Rockies Adventure Tour. Hop onto the Icefields Parkway, take in some beautiful views on hikes and spot wildlife, before landing in Jasper to carry on your explorations.

Day 3:

Continue exploring the stunning Banff National Park, taking in the magnificent views of the Columbia Icefield and Bow Lake. Plus, take an unforgettable hike on the Toe of the Glacier trail.

Days 4-5:

After spending full days exploring with your leader, spend your remaining time in Banff exploring all the bits you want to see. Will you go horse-riding, explore caves, or take a helicopter flight?

Day 1: Welcome to Canada!

Your Canada Rockies Tour kicks off today! You’ll check into your hostel today, and in the evening you’ll meet your Adventure Leader for the next few days. They’ll introduce themselves, talk you through your itinerary, and give you any tips on getting used to the local area.

Day 2: Jasper

Today is a full-on day, so this morning we’ll stock up on plenty of food to last us the day before we head off. It’s an epic day of sightseeing, walks/hikes and wildlife spotting in Banff and Jasper National Parks today as we travel the Icefields Parkway! Highlights include Lake Louise, Moraine Lake (seasonal), Peyto Lake and Athabasca Falls. Later on, we’ll walk the trails and bridges in the upper section of Maligne Canyon.

Once we’re back in Jasper, we’ll check into our hostel and get cleaned up, before we head out into the Jasper townsite to explore. After that – dinner time! We’ll take you to Jasper Pizza after a long day’s exploring.

Day 3: Banff

We’re back on the Parkway today, as we continue exploring! On our travels today, we’ll pay a visit to the spectacular Sunwapta Falls. We’ll also hike the Toe of the Glacier trail all the way to the Athabasca Glacier at the Columbia Icefield, and visit amazing spots like Bow Lake.

Back in Banff at your next hostel, you’ll be able to talk through your options for tomorrow with your Adventure Leader, where they’ll help you book your plans for your free day!

Put your feet up briefly before you head down to Cougar Pete’s restaurant in the hostel for a delicious dinner. Then, if you’ve still got some energy left, head out to take advantage of Banff’s legendary nightlife scene!

Day 4: Banff

We’ve shown you all our favourite bits of the Parkway over the last few days, so today you can do as you please! If you’ve booked any exciting adventures, you might be going horse-riding, taking a cave tour, or even treating yourself to a once in a lifetime helicopter flight! Otherwise, you can join your Adventure Leader on an easy hike of some local trails, before you enjoy a free afternoon.

This evening marks the last dinner with your group, so head into town for some tasty food. Then we’ll end your tour with an unmissable visit to the Banff Upper Hot Springs under the evening sky.

Day 5: Farewell

Sadly, today brings your Canada Rockies tour to a close, so you’ll bid farewell to your new friends!

What's Included?

What’s included on your Canadian Rockies Adventure Tour:

All internal travel & accommodation throughout the duration of the trip.
Two full days of guided sightseeing, walks/hikes, wildlife spotting, and travelling along the Icefields Parkway.
A visit to Banff Upper Hot Springs.

Payments

A deposit is required to make a reservation on our group Canadian Rockies Adventure tour, with the balance due 70 days prior to departure (unless booking with one of our promotions, for which specific balance due dates may apply).

The deposit is 10% of the group tour price (unless stated otherwise). If you book on to our tours less than 70 days prior to departure, the full balance will be due within 3 days of booking.

Upgrades & Extras

Private room upgrades:

Pre- and post-night accommodation:
We recommend that passengers book any pre- or post-nights of accommodation themselves. In Banff, we recommend the HI Banff Alpine Centre.

Airport transfers:
