Transfer to the spectacular Whistler for once-in-a-lifetime scenery. Take in the sights on an alpine hiking tour and learn about Indigenous Canadian culture at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre.

Day 5-6: Victoria
Head to Victoria with a scenic ferry journey, before exploring the city's amazing architecture. Take a spooky ghost walk at night, grab some fish & chips, and challenge your group to a bowling competition.

Day 7-8: Vancouver
Finish up back in beautiful Vancouver, seeing all the sights you missed the first time. Spend some time touring and sampling the delights of a local craft brewery, before you and your group say a fond farewell to Canada.
Day 1: Welcome to Vancouver
Your Canadian West Coast Adventure Tour starts today! Touch down in Vancouver, head to your hostel, and meet your Adventure Leader and group in the reception area. After saying hello, your Leader will give you a briefing, where you’ll find out what to expect over the coming week and get any tips for adjusting to Canadian life.
This evening, you and your group will enjoy a picnic dinner at Sunset Beach, basking in the views of the English bay. After this, you might want to check out the Roxy Cabaret or one of the many other bars and pubs in the Granville Entertainment District.
Day 2: Vancouver
This morning, orient yourself properly with the “VANconic” walking and public transit tour around the city. This includes a Seabus ride over to Lonsdale Quay, where you’ll get a chance to stop for lunch. We’ll visit Stanley Park, Canada Place & the 2010 Olympic Cauldron, Gastown – and many more spots!
Then, this afternoon is yours to do with what you want. Explore the city at your leisure, and feel free to ask your guide for recommendations on the local area. You might want to head to Granville Island, the Museum of Anthropology or the Vancouver Aquarium.
In the early evening, you’ll head to False Creek and English Bay for a sightseeing mini-cruise. Then, you and your group can head into the former Olympic Village for dinner together.
Day 3: Whistler
You’re up early today, ready to transfer to your next stop: Whistler. You’ll arrive in late morning, drop your things at the accommodation, and head on a highlight walking tour of the village – including a stop for lunch.
This afternoon, challenge your group and prove your mettle – you’re going axe-throwing! After that, head back to your personal pod in your new hotel in the heart of Whistler, and have a well-deserved chill before dinner. Then, head to The Living Room bar in the hotel for a group dinner, before heading out to the village’s busy nightlife scene. It is an adventure resort, after all!
Day 4: Whistler
You’ll start your day with an amazing cultural experience at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre. This centre, a collaborative project between the Squamish and Lil’wat Indigenous Nations, seeks to share cultural knowledge and respect amongst all people. When you visit, you’ll take part in the Holistic Tour & Indigenous Tea Offering. There’ll be a forest walk, tea sampling, and informative film & introduction.
Next, we’ll take to the skies for the best views across Whistler, with a spot of alpine hiking. While you’re up there, you’ll ride the PEAK 2 PEAK gondola that connects Whistler Mountain with Blackcomb Mountain. Here, you’ll get amazing 360-degree views of the mountains, village, forests, and lakes across the region.
The evening is yours to do as you please – so make the most of your time in Whistler with a spot of exploring, or ask your guide for recommendations!
Day 5: Victoria
Rise and shine! You’re on an early bus bound for Vancouver. A quick change for another bus bound for the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal, before you jump on a scenic boat ride to take you across the Salish Sea. You’ll arrive on Vancouver Island to head into your next stop: Victoria! After you’ve checked in to the accommodation, take some time to rest up before a group dinner in the early evening.
We hope you’re not afraid of the dark… This evening, you’ll be taking a nighttime trip around British Columbia’s most haunted city, as you embark on the spoooooky Ghostly Walks tour!
Day 6: Victoria
You’ve seen the city by night, but this morning you’ll see it by day with a highlights walking tour. You’ll take in the best bits of Downtown Victoria, including Chinatown, Bastion Square, the Empress Hotel, the Parliament Buildings, and Beacon Hill Park. Make sure you stop for lunch at Fisherman’s Wharf – and try the delicious fish & chips at Barb’s!
In the afternoon, take in the sights of British Columbia’s capital under your own steam, and be sure to ask your guide for any must-dos. One amazing option could be to head whale-watching!
This evening, your group will meet for dinner and drinks at the Canadian Brewhouse, before you compete in a game of bowling!
Day 7: Vancouver
For the last full day of your Canadian West Coast Adventure Tour, we’re heading back into Vancouver. You’ll take that beautiful ferry ride back to the mainland, where you’ll head to your accommodation to drop your things. Then, you’ll head on a craft beer brewery tour with your Leader – where samples are, of course, included as you go.
Pop back to your hostel to chill out, before heading out for your final meal. Join your group for dinner, and – if you didn’t get your fill at the brewery tour earlier – some last night drinks in the city.
Day 8: Farewell
This morning it’s time to say a fond farewell to your group and Leader, as it sadly marks the end of your Canadian West Coast Adventure Tour.

Pre- and post-night accommodation:
We recommend that passengers book any pre- or post-nights of accommodation themselves. For hostels in Vancouver, we recommend the HI Vancouver Downtown Hostel as the best option.
Airport transfers:
We don’t offer private airport transfers from/to Vancouver airport, as the public transport system in Vancouver is very well-connected. We recommend passengers take the Canada Line train from the airport downtown (and vice versa to return), where you can easily make your way to the hostel. This costs around CA$10. Alternatively, Lyft or Uber options are available, which will cost between CA$30-35.
