Are they US vaccinating their population?

They are indeed, and with a very effective and fast vaccination programme. Already 483 million doses have been given, and this is increasing every day. It is a vast programme, encouraging everyone from 5 years and up to be fully vaccinated and already inviting 18 year olds to get their booster jab.

How are their cases?

There are still a significant amount of covid cases, however this is largely due to the vastness of the country and the different lockdown laws in each state. Case numbers vary massively from state to state, so it’s best to research the specific state you want to visit! However their daily confirmed cases per a million people is currently at 360,000, where the UK is 785,000, so it’s currently safer to hang out in America than the UK!

Are there restrictions?

Restrictions have eased a lot. Expect some social distancing rules and mask wearing, at some shops/venues a proof of vaccination may be needed to enter. Again, this does vary in different states.
